Tuscan Traffic Light

We've been painting, and it's FUN.

I like color, LOTS of color. So we've been working on the dining room and the kitchen. It's almost finished, I've got to drybrush the glaze on tomorrow. It's called Coffee Bean, how perfect is that?

But right now, the red and gold are VIBRANT. The pictures don't do them justice...

That's great! I think that all walls should be colorfull. White is so boring and bland. Way to spice it up.

I love the colors! Our "Man Room" (thus dubbed because it's like a den, but with more video games and less actual work) is a nice, deep red. I think I should have painted the bedroom that color too, so I could enjoy my favorite color more (the Man Room is not where I choose to while away my hours). But two rooms painted dark red might be a bit much, especially since we've got a 99% chance of moving in the next year.

And now for a little catching up...

Dude, your Henry Rollins doppelganger doctor is making me jealous. My doctors are all nerdy. But I don't really need my OB to be hot--that would just be weird.

Your kids are ADORABLE! SOOOOOOOOO cute! (But you probably already knew that.)

Am I correct in guessing that your DH is in the USAF? Mine, too! Since 1986, actually. He's retiring this coming fall.

So you're living in OKC? I did that, once. Had an apartment across the expressway from Quail Springs Mall. Eight months of that was enough for me--partly because my horrible job in the foreclosure dept. of a mortgage company was sucking my will to live, partly because the Midwest and I just don't see eye-to-eye, especially weather-wise. One of my best friends lives there--he and his wife are heading for long term mission work in Vienna next summer, so we won't be visiting them in OKC any time soon. More's the pity, too--this pregnancy is making me crave Ted's queso and it's just not right that I can't get my hands on any!

Okay, I've probably taken up all of your comment bandwidth, so I'll stop. I'm so excited to hear from you and see that you're doing well and have a darling family and all that. I hope you get a chance to pop by and say hello on my blog--it's the only way I keep in touch with anyone anymore. Once I get my brother, the computer genius, to update my links with your blog address, I'll become a regular reader, or as close as possible with a tiny, screaming newborn. (He's not here yet, I've got 4 or 5 weeks to go, but I think it's safe to assume he'll be tiny and screaming.)

I'm so glad you found me and commented! I've missed you, Dearest!
