A few weeks ago, while Brian was on leave, we took the kids exploring for the day. We drove south and turned here and there. It's the best way to get anywhere, really. We found the Gushikawa-Jo ruins (Jo means castle), and Cape Kyan Prefectural Park. We also drove down to Peace Prayer Park. It was a beautiful, albeit horribly humid, day. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's a reference book to Okinawa.
